Ok. I admit I am a perfectionist. But taking care of home, a sick young un, and oneself is seriously very difficult.
Some strangers enter the gates and “open off” the taps causing a huge water loss.
Locking the gates leads to other issues. Couriers never ring the doorbell in the best of times and now with the gates locked, one can forget any service from them.
Even if doorbells are provided at the gates, UPSes will be needed. As things stand, most people just clang the gate and all gates in my neighbourhood sound the same!
In India getting anyone to follow a system is impossible. You can make any rule and ppl will do as they jolly well please.
Life in Bangalore is way way better than the rest of the country and it is pretty bad here.
What to do!
Detachment, in india is the only way. And of course prayer. In some countries they pray for miracles. In some other places they pray for natural processes like rain or health.
In India, you have to pray that your trash gets picked up, water, mail, couriers, gas etc get delivered and so on.
You have to pray that people do their jobs properly and you get your rights. You have to pray that human based systems work!
You have to pray for 24 hours a day for aaaalllll the things needed. And a perfectionist can barely get off her knees from prayer.
You have to do all your karma, and then pray that everybody else, individually does theirs.
