Oh! For a Rich Patron!

Kalidasa had good old Vikramaditya (or Bhoja Raja depending on what you believe…).

You shoot off a Raghuvamsam and the king is happy.. he did not have to “play to the gallery” as our TV channels do, sacrificing all that is in good taste as they try to identify and cater to animal instincts that are common to all humans.

Hmmm.

I have so much work left to do on Ancient Indians. And yet one needs money for rent and food and all that. Since ‘truth’ and ‘data’ have no sponsors, I must get around and do an actual job and do all this in my spare time.

I have to do an actual “full-time” job with good money. One house owner told me.. “maam, you can’t afford my house on your salary”.

“Full-time” jobs with good money pay for rent, petrol etc., but they are highly competitive, pressurised and full of responsibilities. Will I even have time to ‘think’ let alone meditate, study, research and write?

So, if you, the reincarnation of Vikramaditya, are out there, reading this post… please help. The government won’t, other agencies won’t, and on my own.. I can have either time or money.

Raja Janaka was a jeevan mukta and he won’t be around… to help now…

Of all my expensive habits, my  pride and self-dependence are the most expensive…

  1. Kalidasa found Vikramaditya (or the other way) after many years. There surely would be a Vikramaditya waiting somewhere for you. All the best…

  2. Thanks ClippedIn.. I always thought you were an organisation or software or something… not an actual person.. :D
