When I was a child, I read in the Chandamama that a quiet lady writing in her farm, wrote the book that caused the civil war and freed the slaves.
Maybe, even as I fret about what I ought to do next, what I have been doing already will have some positive impact on the world. I do try to write the best I can.

Valmiki did not receive hefty book advances or movie rights to his films,,, yet his name is immortalized as the author of the best itihasa in the world retold in many countries, many languages and in many ways and it is still popular till today!
Am I an author only if I am paid for what I write? (That would be nice too.. but maybe if I keep doing this as well as I can., some good will come of it?)
