There exists in a faraway land., a lovely mountain range. The climate here is a lovely cool one. There is neither snow nor merciless heat. The valley is not too faraway from the peak on one of the mountains. And occasionally one can reach the clouds. There is a beautiful serene lake, the peace and beauty take my breath away. There is a small canoe that I often take out. I love floating on the water, still. In the distance I can usually hear singing. Rising and falling as the wind changes. My mind is still and my heart almost bursts with joy. As I go further some villagers come into sight. They wave and shout their greetings. I wave and smile back, with smiles on their lips and happiness in their hearts they go off to work, and I go back to my life.
I linger to see the sun set. I smile at the sun. It’s a sight I never tire off. Now I walk toward my cabin. The chores of the day remain. I sing as I clean the house and dishes. I take my sandwiches onto the porch. Listening to the sounds of the night and my thoughts. A sigh of contentment and fulfillment. Time is still. I have no need to read or write. I have no need to do anything in particular. The moon shines in through my bedroom window. Onto my very comfortable, inviting bed. I crawl in, yawn and shut my eyes. The nightingale sings a lullaby.
I watch when the rays of dawn, light my room from the other side. I grin and reap out and rush to the window. This morning program is something I never miss. Nature’s creatures are busy preparing to search for food. The soft diffuse light of the dawn fills my little hut. As the light grows brighter, I reach for my towel. I know of a little cove on the other side. There is a little waterfall and a small poor. Sheltered from the over bright light of the day. There is a little cave behind the fall. But I prefer the one on the shore. I shake the water out of my hair delighting in the spray. I have a ledge here where I make coffee on a stick fire. I live on coffee and the food the villagers occasionally give me. I live in peace and joy
