Today is not the day where you get hold of a book and read it from cover to cover several times.
It is a day when you approach the internet with one question in your mind and it will give you a hundred answers from a hundred sources.
If you are seeing these words then you have not seen the last words I wrote nor will you see the next., unless you have a specific interest in me. Then of course you would be a friend of mine right?
Or in a rare case, a fan!
And I measure the value of my words, by looking at a graph that tells me how many times people ‘clicked’ on my ‘page’. By that I will say these are the words that occur in people’s questions and appear in my writing. These are ‘popular words’ that I have used in this piece.
Or these words were already used and they have suddenly become popular today. I will not know if my words answered the question, or if they delighted the reader in any way. It is a rare reader who leaves a comment. And then ususally what they like is not the bits that you are proud of, but some other random bits. The sense that they make of your well-crafted words, is not the sense you intended.
But, what else do you have? But that magic number: Blog Stats!
Everyone does want to be read right, for whatever reason….
